With so many teams still playing the popular fps, COD4.CO.ZA will be hosting a competition called the survival series. This is not just a competition, the tournament hosts will now try their hand at hosting a league, and judging by the success they have had with their ONC's (One Night Cups), the league is something you do not want to miss out on.

All four of our teams will be taking part in the Do Gaming Championships, and amazingly all teams acquired a top 5 seed or better,l Mint will have a total of 13 players playing for the organisation during the championships and as always Mint Gaming will have members from management at the event to take photos, do interviews, score updates and more.

The team is however unable to confirm whether they will have the facilities to stream any of the event. as the Telkom lines supplied to Do Gaming will mainly be used for the Starcraft 2 Championship which will be running at the same time.

This could potentially make or break Bravado's impressive run when it comes to LAN competitions. kOnvict has always been known for his amazing AWPing skills and his clutch play. However he will be replaced by former team-mate, inciN who left Bravado last year due to personal commitments.

Although this is quite a bold move a week before the start of the championships, Bravado has shown in the past they they are able to cope with change fairly easily. But the skill gap over the past year has decreased quite rapidly, and we could see a new champion crowned if inciN is not able to pick up where he left off.

Vitriolic, which was arguably one of the biggest and best gaming organisations during its time, was shut down a couple of years ago, however they announced that they would be making a comeback (details). Although details are still a little sketchy, we now understand that Vitriolic will now be picking up the entire Ventus Organisation, this includes its players and management.

This is a huge move for Ventus, however one must question how good will it be for all of their teams. Vitriolic was a huge international organisation in its heyday, and one can only help but think that only a handful of Ventus players could benefit from a move like this. We caught up with Roger Barradas CEO of Vitriolic Gaming.

"I'd like to welcome the Ventus managers and players under the Vitriolic brand. I believe that this move with give Vitriolic a good start in the South African scene and will help us establish our brand locally as well as internationally. Vitriolic was first born in Durban so it feels great to start supporting local players. We have great plans for the brand and expanding into main stream

With 16 players, who are currently competing at the pinnacle of Starcraft II in the country at the moment, we will most definitely see some great group action. As it stands group C seems to be a little harder than the rest, but one must remember that it could be anyones game on the day, just as we saw during the last leg of the Do Gaming league. With big names such as mikkaeel, Oelofse1986 and RoLo_87 and of course Mint's very own Aseef in attendance, there will surely be some great match-ups.
