Avokodo's first match saw him take on Ferris_Wheel, where he won with relative ease. He then progressed to the next round taking on Numb in what was a fairly long game, after coming out on top yet again Avokodo progressed to the semi-finals taking on Smiley and winning 2-0.
He then marched onto the finals, where Bravado's Shase was waiting, the finals saw a best-of-5 matchup featuring two of South Africa's players who proved to be amongst the top during the Beta stages of the game. Avokodo's strong run in the tournament didn't stop, as he used his trademark harass strategy throughout the maps played and this proved to be too much for Shase to stop. Avokodo was able to take the finals, with an uncontested 3-0 win.
When asked about being the first competition winner since the release of the actual game Avokodo had the following to say:
Avokodo wrote:
Oh wow, I didn't think of it like that, it's kinda sweet [laughs], it always feels great winning something, and I'm glad I could represent Mint in the process.
